Project Update: Successful Commissioning of DMA Simulator for PDAM

July, 2024

Granitor Systems has successfully completed the commissioning of the DMA simulator project in collaboration with BTAM. This simulator is designed for PDAM training across Indonesia, enhancing their operational efficiency and technical skills. Granitor Systems played a crucial role in adding control and monitoring systems to this project. The DMA simulator features three chambers, each equipped with Flow Meters and Pressure Transmitters. These values can be monitored through our HMI and SCADA systems. Additionally, we integrated Motorized Valves, which can be controlled and monitored for status via HMI and SCADA. Our contributions included the addition of PLC and HMI, along with modifications to the SCADA system.

The commissioning process comprised three key inspections: visual, functional, and operational. The visual inspection ensured all components were installed correctly and verified that part numbers matched the design documents. The functional inspection confirmed that all installed components functioned properly, ensuring input/output signals corresponded to actual field conditions and verifying the HMI was operational and functioning correctly. The operational inspection ensured system integration was seamless, confirming that valves and pumps could be operated from HMI and SCADA.

This successful commissioning marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering high-quality solutions for water management and training systems in Indonesia. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on PDAM training programs.
