Management and organization

Granitor’s horizontal organization chart
– for commitment and responsibility

Granitor is a Swedish, privately owned Group with 15 subsidiaries. The companies have independent management teams and organizations with a shared Group Management. Something unique about us is that in developing our Group, we decided early on to visualize our organization chart as a horizontal arrow. We call it our management arrow and it means that we read our organization chart from right to left.

At the front of the arrow, to the right, is the market and our clients along with the community we work for. Those of us who work at the front of the arrow meet clients on a daily basis and therefore have the best knowledge and understanding of both the clients’ needs and the market in general. To the left, at the back of the arrow, are those of us who work with making and implementing strategic decisions for the long-term development of the whole Granitor Group.

Based on our insights from the Management Arrow, we plan our processes and structures. One example is our scenario analysis, where the focus is on the competence at the front of the arrow, which form the basis of the decisions made further back along the arrow. It is only when we are working together, along the entire arrow, that we can really develop tomorrow’s community and industry.
